Amber studied at the University of Brighton School of Architecture. She worked for several small practices in Paris before joining Building Design Partnership in London where she was Project Leader for Wellington Academy Student Residence, Redland Green School in Bristol and the Genome Centre in Norwich. She was also involved in award winning projects including the new campus for University of Wales Newport, Highbury Grove and Samuel Rhodes schools as well as projects in France and China.

Amber joined Andrew Mulroy Architects in 2011.
