Earlsmead Primary School

The brief from the London Borough of Haringey was to create a welcoming but secure entrance to the school were previously access was unclear and uncontained.

The project was originally planned for construction in 2011 but in June 2010 the project was brought forward to the summer of 2010 to avoid loss of funding. An accelerated programme was possible by exploiting the recent changes in planning legislation that aloows permitted development in schools and negotiating with a single contractor to achieve the project budget and start on site date.

The project was completed within the summer holidays and on budget.
